When I first came across this book on Amazon I thought it may be some sort of joke but than I realized it was written by Marshall Brain who has been on the Oprah show, Good Morning America, and is the founder of How Stuff Works.

Online Classes Decadent Chocolate Cakes

Online Chocolate Cake Class
Well, in the case of the new online class: Decadent Chocolate Cakes, they not only got the best instructor, but they got a living legend of the craft: Alice Medrich. To celebrate this exciting release, we’re offering a limited time introductory discount of 50% off. Enroll now!
With more cookbook-of-the-year and best-in-category awards from the James Beard Foundation and the International Association of Culinary Professionals than any other author, Alice Medrich essentially introduced America to the truffle, a virtually unknown treat in the States before she started her business in 1973. In a 1988 article, the New York Times described her truffles as “wickedly sensuous,” and “velvety smooth.” It wasn’t just truffles that helped her become so successful. Her cakes, some of which the same New York Times article described as, “suggest[ing] restrained interpretations of Art Deco,” are some of the most elegant and delicious desserts you will ever taste.
And with the brand new online Craftsy class, Decadent Chocolate Cakes, Alice shares her favorite recipes with you, and teaches you exactly how to make them with her celebrated techniques. Those methods---which begin with basics such as measuring, mixing, and melting and progress through more advanced techniques such as layering and finishing---can be applied to dessert creations of your own; not just the recipes you get in this class. Enroll in it now for 50% off.
Learn to make the sleek Queen of Sheba Cake, laced with almonds and rum, and the Ultimate Chocolate Birthday Cake with its whipped ganache filling and dressy finish. Her glamorous Chocolate Raspberry Ruffle Cake is the finale: thin layers of chocolate sponge cake filled with both chocolate and vanilla crème fraîche, as well as fresh raspberries, it’s then entirely wrapped in a sheet of pure chocolate and topped with a bouquet of chocolate fans. As a bonus, Alice will even show you how to make a whimsical chocolate centerpiece that is almost too beautiful to eat. Just as her desserts are too luscious to not eat, this class is simply too wonderful to not sign up for.
Craftsy online classes are interactive, so you can ask Alice questions as you go. Benefit from her wisdom and experience, and participate in discussions with your classmates, too! Since your registration never expires, you can take the class whenever you want and however many times you want. Craftsy classes are all covered by our 100% satisfaction guarantee, and this is no exception. If you’re not happy, let us know and we’ll refund your money no questions asked.
So, enroll in Decadent Chocolate Cakes for 50% off. Even if you don’t become a worldwide legend of chocolate cakes, you’ll certainly be one in your own home!
